52 Books

Late last year I set a goal for myself. I wanted to read 52 books in the year 2001. I just read pretty much like normal for me and started to keep a log of what I was reading on my computer. I always knew I read a lot but this was a nice surprise. I figured this was like one book per week. I find it interesting to see what sorts of things I was reading throughout the year. As the year wound down I started to seek out more self-help books and learning aides than ever before in my life and I think this year will be more of the same. The last 3 books I have read are “him” inspired and I think the best of them all. Next year I wanna read a Poe book.

I’m very happy to say that I have succeeded in reaching my goal. I also read countless writing magazines and poetry magazines and who knows how many thousands of poems and stories online. It’s uncountable. Not to mention the dozens of diaries I read on a daily basis now.

I am very proud of myself for reaching my goal and with days to spare…. ;-)

Yes, I am sitting over here patting myself on the back…..good job PoeticaL….good job!
