questioning yourself just leads to doubt
are so red they feel like I’m Rocky in a fight scene I’m so tired. There should be a
drug to combat this feeling. Ahhh…there is…I believe it’s called speed. Too
damn bad I’m not into drugs. My drug of choice… ahh you guessed it. Poetry.
But that does nothing for the sore eyes.
That’s way cool because I love that song. I think it’s the only Tori song I like!
Last night I figured out a way to send aim messages from two different nicks on
one computer at the same time. And me and me tag teamed Dark and know what?
I think I blew his mind. Tee hee… That was fun. *hugzzz* I’ve so missed talking
with you. I realize how much every time we do again.
Last night my son got his yellow belt certificate… They spelled his name wrong. So
much for discipline of the mind at the Tao Kwon Doe center. LOL If I didn’t want so badly
to protect his identity I’d tell you and you’d die laughing. Not just a typo. I think
someone in there was trying to be funny because I don’t think anyone’s that dumb.
Last night I realized again that my ‘Bucky’ is a cutie pa’tutie. He’s a good kid. Yeah
Yeah he’s spoiled…
I can’t wait for today to be over so I can start my weekend. I have plans. Big plans.

Do you believe I got this far in this entry without mentioning “him yeah..me either…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He called me yesterday afternoon
and used this really funny womanly kind of voice…I stopped dead in my tracks and
when he spoke with his normal voice and let me in on the joke…I was laughing so hard
I had tears in my eyes. It was one of those moments that are the best in life.
When you’re on the same page with someone else and it’s a happy moment. Reminds
me of the line “Hanging on a Moment” by Lifehouse. When he sings he has the voice
like the perfect sound lightning must make when it holds its breath for thunder to speak.
It’s beautiful. I love the way he speaks that calm steady way. But the best is when he
laughs.
So…last night I was cruising diaryland for a while and found a few diaries I have
never read before and found my name on them saying “from PoeticaL’s diary”.
Now is that nifty or scary. Have I lost my sanctuary or have I become a part of
the madness? Hard to say but it brought me back to my desire to write up my own
little questions poll. So here we go. I wrote these questions. I didn’t steal em,
kype ‘em, act like I just had to like ‘em or just swipe ‘em. I just wrote’em….you dig?
*ok I got a little carried away with the title…tee hee..*
1. What is your favorite word and why?
Love, because I’m all about the love babieeeeeeee.
2. If you could be a character from any book for a day which character would you
be and why?
Alice in Wonderland… she eats cookies and gets smaller….and oh what a wonderful
world to live in…Wonderland….hmmm.
3. What song makes you crumble when you hear it on the radio and why?
Hard to Say I’m Sorry – Chicago Seems that songs always been a part of my life
and when I hear it….I just remember bits and moments of my life that make me
cry.
4. Who is the person in your life that makes you feel you are at your strongest
and why?
Darksoul makes me feel strong because he has a way with words that pulls me up
by my proverbial boot straps.
5. Who makes you feel the weakest and why?
Husband, because he just has mastered the how of it.
6. What was the most embarrassing moment you have experienced to date?
The day when I was 14 and my parents were fighting over a micro cassette of a
recording of my mother on the telephone with her lover. It was quite
embarrassing to have to say “yes…but why did you ruin my Bark at the Moon Ozzy
cassette tape to record this with?
7. Have you ever gone “parking” and what do you recall about the experience?
Yes, I recall “yes officer my parents know where I am…well….kinda!”
8. Name one thing in your pocket, purse, or backpack that you wouldn’t want
anyone to ever know was in there? And why are you ashamed?
My extensive collection of Lip Smackers lip gloss. Quite embarrassing…um…there’s a lot of it.
9. If you could blink your eyes and make someone fall down dead and yet no one
would know you did it…would you do it? And who would you blink?
Ok, I am about to say something that will shock the Internet world, but I would
blink my eyes and be gone with my very own egg donor and never blink
..er…uh…think twice!
10. If you could be anything in the world today what would you choose to be?
A famous novelist, but anyone except for Danielle Steel. Argh….. IS that
WRITING or RECYLCING? I mean really…. I wasted years on that drivel until I read a “GOOD” book and never went back.
11. Would you rather be dumped or be the one to dump a love?
I always thought dumping someone was a lot harder. At least if I got dumped I
could blame the end of it on him. Therefore it was “alllll” his fault we were
no longer together and “out” of my control. If I dumped someone it always seemed
I changed my mind midway through the healing and wanted him back.
12. If you had to cook dinner for the opposite sex, what would you cook for them
and why?
I would make “polenta” and slap that on the table like grandma did and if he
refused to eat it the way “family” does…I’d know he was anal and not for me. Or I’d order sushi and if he likes it..cool…if he refuses to eat it…well CASE CLOSED.
13. What would you prefer to do on a first date and why?
Talk, isn’t that why you go out…to get to know someone?
14. Have you ever gone on a blind date and was it good..bad..etc?
Went on a blind date once. Steve Geiger. He was goofy, had a huge comb in his
back pocket geek style and drove a camaro. All wrong for me. But I ended up
dating him for 3 months even though the first date..we sat in his parents living
room watching a cat clean itself for 20 minutes in silence with his parents. When I think back to it it still bothers me that I couldn’t find a way to dig him, because he treated me better than any single man I have ever known outside of him.
15. If you could meet one famous person who would you want to meet and what
would you say to him/her and why?
Paul Westerberg. I would say “You can kill me now… I’m happy.”
16. What was the first concert you ever went to?
I can’t quite remember but seems to me it was Bon Jovi or The Hooters. One or
the other. HAHAHAHAHA. Both suck. Jon Bon Jovi wore a Santa hat, it was on
12/20 I do remember that.
17. What is the best book you have ever read that you like so much you have it
all dogeared? And if you don’t have a favorite book…why not?
Blood Sugar by Nicole Blackman Her words just give me chills. Buy this book! Oh wait…I think my Blood Sugar book musta been doin my Fight Club book cause they’re never alone. Tee hee..
18. If you had ten dollars in your pocket and 3 days til payday what would you
spend your last ten dollars on because you just couldn’t pass it up?
A great book at a used bookstore. A CD. Anything at all that made me smile.
Especially if I had been looking for it for a long time.
19. What present do you wish someone would buy for you always, but it never
happens?
A book of poetry. Can you believe that no one’s ever figured out to do
that? Doh!
20. What is the worst gift you ever got and did you lie and say you liked it?
I got a hairdryer from my husband 2 years ago and I didn’t lie about liking it.
I just put it in the linen closet and seethed for months. I recall my dad
saying “Maybe he just thinks you have beautiful hair.” I bought him a
hammer…”maybe I just want to rearrange his face?”
21. On a first date would you order salad or would you order what you normally
order any other time and why?
I would order my normal food choices. Although now it is a salad. *sigh*
22. Do you think that everyone online lies?
No.
23. What song best describes you lyrically?
Achin to Be – The Replacements or Valentine by the same guys. “Wish upon a star that turns into a plane…”
24. What wish have you wished for repeatedly throughout your lifetime?
Happiness. Oh I just want to become best friends with her…so..bad….
25. What is the one thing you would be sure to do if you won the lottery..and
why?
I would invest in a catheter company. Lotsa people have problems with there
pee’er! Then I’d go to a bookstore and buy a room full of books. My own damn
library.
26. If you could spend Christmas with anyone doing anything anywhere…what would
your dream Christmas be like?
Hmm…I’m having thoughts that I can’t write here….argh. I would be with someone
special in Colorado in front of a fire place on Christmas Eve just holding each
other drinking Corona’s.
27. Have you ever recycled a gift?
Once. The recipient never knew…and liked it far better than I. No harm no
fowl. I think someone did that on a wedding gift I got. Duck cups. All I have to say to husband is “duck cups” and we both roll with laughter….still.
28. What is the biggest excuse you have used for why you can’t go somewhere when
the truth is you just don’t feel like it?
I can’t get a babysitter this late in the game. Yes..yes…I had one…she decided
to go out with her friends to the mall instead…you know how it is….
29. Do you care more about what other people think of you or more about what you
think of other people and why?
I care more about what I think of myself, I am my own worst enemy. What you
think doesn’t matter. What you say…kinda does.
30. If you could buy yourself a talent in any area what talent would you buy for
yourself and why?
I would be a piano player without a flaw so I could write my own songs!
31. Do you fill out more than one of these questionnaires a week and then
promise yourself you’ll never do this again?
Yes. *sigh*
32. If you had to pick just ONE and only ONE diary (no cheating) on diaryland to
read, who’s would you not be able to live without and why?
He’s my oxygen when life sucker punches me. He is my ink.
33. If you could bring one person back from the dead to speak to them, who would
you bring back and why?
My Uncle David…so I could tell him how much of what he taught me is still living
on and hug him for such a wonderful gift. Oh and to tell him I named my son after him.
34. What was your favorite book as a child and why?
The Little House. A house that smiles? Amazing. Harold and the Purple Crayon
is wayyyyyyy up there too.
35. What is your favorite website…c’mon you know the one you visit daily.
(Diaryland is a given….something else!!!)

Well for me…it’s self-explanatory.

I’ve scribbled…is that poetry? lol
38. What one thing have you done in the last 2 years that you regret the most?
Jumping a plane, letting someone jump a plane…I just regret the whole airport….planes….argh!!!!
