Spam and Strawberrys and Smiles…

I know this girl who is a friend of a friend. Her name is Liz. She got my email address from the mutual friend whenever she saw my poetry and wanted to tell me she liked it. Well for the last year and a half she’s been forwarding tons of nonsense warning emails to my account and also to his. I see that she’s sending to both of us as she never sends anything bcc:

I get tons of em..mind you. I have asked her to delete my address from her let me drive you crazy with my forwards list. She does for awhile then in about a week’s time I’m back to getting stuff full force again. *sigh* I know…block her….

Today I got this one from her (so did my friend…)

Please be aware of emails with the subject line "Hi".

The W32.Goner.A@mm worm attaches itself to an email with the subject line "Hi",

and attachment name "gone.scr". The message body reads:

How are you ?

When I saw this screen saver, I immediately thought about you

I am in a harry, I promise you will love it!

Just to be funny I wrote the following up and sent it to my friend who also is inundated with these damn forwards on a daily basis from Liz.

Please be aware of emails with the subject line "Hi, I want to overload your email account with my bullshit big ass.exe files”

The LiZ.Smith@goofy.worm attaches itself to a thousand emails with the subject line "Let me Share Something with you",

and attachment name "nuts.doh". The message body reads:

How are you ?

When I saw this Spam email, I immediately thought of how many friends I could pretend to have and annoy. I am feeling quite important now, please reply to me so I can feel a large measure of self worth and acceptance. I promise you that I will reply to you a million times so that you don’t ever feel lonely.

In some strange sort of irony without her even knowing I did that…I got another email from her with the subject line “MERRY CHRISTMAS” and an exe file attached that just so happened to be Crimbo.exe (637k). 637k? in an exe. ? *Sigh* Merry Christmas Liz..I hope Santa brings you a spam free New Year…so that maybe I can have one too.

Mind you, I don’t even know this girl except for a very minor association through another friend.

oh yeah…and I did this! What kind of fruit are you???? Tee hee…

I just read this Ten Commandments of Email on Tortilla Boy’s Diary and came back and added it to my entry!!! You go!!! And I forwarded the link to Liz and bcc: her entire list with this message: “Ya’ll know that someone HAD to tell her!!!! I’ll take the fall. I for one am exe’d out!” Yeah I’m a bitch….wait! I am not….she’s a pain in the ass!!!
